Living Land Rice Experience

You will be collected from your hotel this morning at about 8.15am for the drive out to the Living Land Organic Farm located 3 miles (5 km) outside of Luang Prabang. This is a great opportunity to experience the hard life of a farmer and try your hand at some of the activities, such as working with Suzuki the water buffalo, in knee-deep muddy rice paddies.

Enjoyable and very educational, you will learn about the 13 steps and various methods involved in planting, growing, harvesting and cooking rice. The day will end on step 14, trying a huge range of sweet and savoury rice based snacks. You will return to your hotel at about 12.30pm.
